I dont know who Amanda is, but I came across these lines n i loved them.

Friendship is such an amazing thing!! but do we actually find such friends around us anymore? People who genuinely care about you, who are not thinking of using you for their own ends all the time, people who would put aside their issues to be there for you when you need a helping hand?!

In the commercialised value systems where money and time matter more than human beings, people are always busy chasing knowledge n money n all kinds of material luxuries. Spending hours inside cubicles we are becoming islands. People have no time for each other.

So friendship has lost its meaning these days, often it is reduced to posts on facebook n chats online.

Very rare, I would say, but the species has not yet gone extinct :)
All is yet not lost :) Hope remains for people who are still willing to take that time out of their lives to spend with people that really matter in their lives :)

I can say for a fact that it is wonderful to have people to share with and anybody who has found such frienship is the luckiest person on earth!!

So get out there, what are you waiting for?
