So much pain.
Try to outrun them,
Can't leave behind that which is within you.
Try to shut them out... illusion of control,

Try to forget... a deception,
They lie deep beneath,
Lurking in the shadows,
Lay in wait,
till they spring on you, without warning!
Sum of your life,
Regrets... Remorse... Self pity...
